We are very proud of What we have achieved in in the past 32 years as one of the first five college of Education established in 1985 and what we try to achiev in each new day and I hope that this web site can give you a flavor of these achievements.
We are located in a very beautiful serene environment close to Kalu ganga in Kalutara district which is very suitable for an academic setting .Our curriculum aims at changing lives of young men and women and mould them in to the prestigious role of a teacher who can inspire their students minds and cater to realizing the National goals of education in Sri Lanka.
However, what makes our institution a genuinely special place is the people. A visit to our place will make you understand how competent and confident our student teachers are as a result of learning experiences they enjoy here everyday.They are risk takers who understand that they learn from their mistakes and know through their perseverance and resilience they can achieve their dreams and goals.
The driving force of our college is the academic staff. At Pasdunrata, our lecturers are dedicated to helping the students to become professionally qualified, quality, competent teachers.They understand that engaging students in self learning is more important than lecturers as it helps to instill responsibility in students minds of their learning, as teachers should continuously develop their professional skills.
